My name is Georjia Miller. I am 12 years old, I was born on the 16th of May 2003. I have currently been at Apiti school for 2 weeks. I live on Tunipo RD with 7 other people, Angela-my step mum, My Dad, Cara, Holly, Ella, Erika, Bradley, and myself. Our family has also got 5 cats, 2 calves, 2 Dogs, and about 16 chickens. I have a very big family. my favourite subjects at school are Art,Reading,Writing, and mathletics. My favourite food is chocolate and I love MINIONS!

Skiing

It was a cold morning and I was in complete darkness. I had woken up 4:30am. I was so tired but in the end i thought it was worth it. It was so fun. I had never been skiing before so i was a first timer. After a while when i felt confident on going up to boneyard. At first i thought i was literally gonna die going down there but eventually i gathered up my courage of going down the hill. In fact it was surprisingly easy. i had no problem but falling over a couple of times but nothing else. after that there was 15 minutes until time to go so i gathered up all my gear and gave it back to the people who lent them to us.i felt much better once i was in my normal clothes but i still didn't regret the fun time i had. I can't wait to go back again!

Where was I, and what did I do?

For my holiday I went somewhere about two hours away. It wasn't very exciting but i will give you a clue, we drove through the gorge and through Woodville. That is west I think, I'm not so sure. But that's not where we stopped. We went a lot further until we came to a stop at the place where stone hedge is. But then we went about 10 or 15 minutes back and we had another stop. Where were we now? We then had popcorn and a movie called Born to dance was on. What were we doing now?

Yaju is a teacher from China who has come to experience our english world in New Zealand. Yaju has been at Apiti for a whole week. She has taught us the basics from China, including Chinese numbers, Origami, Art, and she even taught us how to make Dumplings. These things are great because they will help us in the future. It is good that Yaju has come to visit us as it is good for us students. We had looked forward to yaju coming and i loved learning with her, because while we were learning Chinese, she was learning English. Thank you Yaju for the amazing opportunities! I hope you have a great time for the rest of your stay in New Zealand. I have learnt some wonderful things and i will never forget it!

Kelly Carter

Kelly Carter is an army sergeant who has worked in both Australia and New Zealand. She has acheived lots of goals in her life, she came 1st out of her age group for a eally long triathlon, and this is all because she stayed at school and worked really hard.

Kelly came here to teach us about what shes done, but she also came here to present Hannah with an award. Her award included, a medal, a badge, red socks,  a Sir Peters Blake book, a leadership magazine and a leadership certificate. Most of the world probably alredy now about Hannah, i always knew she was a loyal person, I look up to Hannah.
